First, I would like to Introduce you to my sister Lynn, so I will share this poem I wrote about her with you. Everything written in this poem is TRUE, based on happenings from our childhood. My sister, Lynn, is without a doubt, one of the Most Unique and Interesting people you could EVER hope to meet!! She and her soul mate hubby, Bruce, bring more joy and laughter into everyone's lives they touch, than anyone I have ever known. I always tell Bruce that he is just like 'one of the girls.' It's GOOD thing!! : ) He is a Delightfully good sport and is always up for anything Lynn and I can think of to do. So, without any further ado, start getting to know my Most Charming Sister.........

My sister, Lynn, was a pretty
child,
Though at times a willful brat,
Like when we'd fight, she'd wait to cry
Till she found where Mom was at!!
Her tears only Then would start to fall,
Great wailing sobs she'd muster.....
Poor Mom was always caught between,
Never knowing if she should trust her!
Because there was MY angelic face
Smiling up with innocence galore,
Could this younger sister really hit and hurt
The big sister she claims to adore?
Mom settled things in the kitchen,
Where she'd Then grant us both our wishes,
Of who had to wash and who had to dry
All of the dirty dishes!!
Lynn never wanted to wash a dish,
She Much preferred to dry,
So all the times she Had to wash,
"COLD water" was her reply.....
"If you make me wash those dishes,
You Know what I will do,
I'll rinse them all with cold water,
And they'll Never get dry for you!"
Despite Lynn's willful demeanor,
She had her enchanted side,
She was Queen of Fairy Forrest, you see....
A place she would forever hide!
To this day I can hear Lynn saying,
As I was tempted with directions she'd share,
"Go down the road, turn to your left,
Then turn to your right, and Fairy Forrest is there."
No matter how much I begged her,
No matter the chores I did,
Fairy Forrest would remain a mystery to me,
Throughout our years as kids.
Then there was the time Lynn convinced me,
That our dolls came alive each night,
While we slept, they all played until we awoke.....
Lynn Assured me that she was right!
To prove that her theory was valid,
She made me dress her up like a doll,
With ruby red lips, pink cheeks and a bow,
She was ready to prove it All.
I dragged my new 'Lynn Doll' to the closet,
Pushed her in with a heave and a ho....
There the 'Lynn Doll' sat in the dark all night long,
Hoping by sunrise she'd know..
I opened the closet the next morning,
Where Lynn patiently sat....still a 'doll,'
Unwilling to give up on her theory, you see,
She leaned calmly against the wall.
She finally figured out the real problem,
She had never fooled them it seems...
After all, it was HER arms who held them,
As she drifted each night into dreams.
Lynn's world was filled with pure fantasies,
A Special Gift born to her straight from Heaven,
She was, after all, Queen of Fairy Forrest,
And a Doll, who was still only Seven.

Lynn & Her Doctor
Lynn, like many people, HATES to go to the doctor! She goes only once a year, so her doctor will fill her perscriptions for the next year. He has learned to deal with her somewhat off beat ways, so finally agreed to this once a year schedule. Lynn was always able to keep him a tad off balance with her keen sense of humor... though he got in some pretty good zingers of his own over the years. When the year was up, Lynn made her appointment, and dutifully went to see the doctor. When she arrived at his office, she noticed him standing by the nurse's station, so wandered over to say hello. She saw that he had a somewhat large bandage on his neck and asked him about it. Without missing a beat, he responded that he had seen her name on the appointment list today, and had slit his throat!!

Lynn & The Mysterious Stranger
While on one of their Many
trips to Disney World in Orlando, FL, one year, Lynn was sitting on a stone bench near a
bridge, waiting for Hubby, Bruce, to return with some refreshments. Lynn was gazing
around at all of the wonderful sights, when she happened to notice a man on the other side
of the bridge, that appeared to be staring at her with a stoney glare. Lynn did her best
to ignore the stranger, but his stare never seemed to falter, which was making her
more and more uncomfortable by the minute. She was considering reporting the man to
one of the Disney security personnel, when Bruce Finally returned with the
refreshments.
Breathlessly, Lynn started telling Bruce about how this man had been steadily staring
at her ever since Bruce left her there, and how the man had made her feel VERY nervous,
since he had never Once taken his eyes Off of her!! Bruce starts looking around to see
where this guy is, but couldn't spot him.
Lynn said, "He is over there, on the other side of the bridge!!"
Bruce looked, but saw no one standing there! By this time, Lynn was REALLY upset, and flung her arm out, pointing in the man's direction!
"There!! He is right THERE!!!"
"THERE?" responds Bruce, incredulously.
"YES," Lynn practically screams! "Are you Blind?!!"
"No," Bruce
replies, "but you must be! The ONLY thing standing there is a concrete
Statue!!!"
(I would have given almost ANYTHING if Lynn HAD called Security!! LOL!! : )

LYNN'S MOON OVER NORTH CAROLINA
Lynn and Bruce were on another lovely vacation, touring through the beautiful
mountains of North Carolina in their motor home. One afternoon, Bruce pulled into an
overlook area at the top of one of the mountains, so they could get out, stretch their
legs and enjoy the glorious sights. Lynn decided to take a quick pottie break first. The
bathroom is in the very back of the motorhome, with a big window on the back. Since they
were up there all alone, Lynn didn't take the time to pull the curtain on the window
closed. When the queen arose from her throne, she noticed to her utter horror, that they
were no longer alone!! Some trucks had pulled up directly behind the back of their
motorhome, with Lynn perfectly framed in that big window!! When Lynn realized she had just
given the occupants of the trucks a full 'moon' , she couldn't get out of the bathroom
Fast enough!! In her horror and haste to get out of the view of the truckers, she ran out
of the bathroom without even taking the time to pull up her pants......slamming the door
behind her. She was totally mortified. Bruce tried to get her to leave the motorhome and
go outside, assuring her that the truckers would never reconize her.
Lynn sobbed....."Well, at least not from the front!!"
